Tri-County Australian Shepherd

            Working Association

TCASWA is an affiliate of the Australian Shepherd Club of America (ASCA) drawing members  from San Diego, Riverside and Los Angeles Counties. Although primarily dedicated to the development of Australian Shepherds and their working abilities, all breeds are welcome to join the club and can fully participate in all club activities. Membership in ASCA is not required.

Our club typically holds three herding trials per year and at least one clinic. We hold tracking trials when sufficient participants are interested.  The herding trials are usually held  in late October/early November, early January, and May to early June.

This club is well known for its friendly and helpful members who are in all stages of development from National Champions to beginners. Members are also heavily involved in other dog-related activities such as agility, obedience, confirmation, tracking, therapy, etc. and freely aid fellow members (and guests) in these other areas.

Current events:

1.Tri County is co-sanctioning an agility trial 9/12/10 with Dash at LynMark Training Center in Riverside. Flyer available here.

2. We are also holding a one day, double rally on 9/11/10 in Norco.  Click here for flyer.

3. We will host an agility trial on 10/3/10, Check here for flyer.

5. Our next club meeting is on October 2nd with members gathering around 3:30pm at the Temecula Sizzler for Dutch-treat dinner. Walk-in guests and potential new members are always welcome to attend the meetings and need not come for dinner. The meetings themselves typically open around 4:30.
